The RPM Grassroots program is tailored to meet a variety of available equipment. To get the most from this, it is recommended to use a commercial-style gym or a CrossFit-style gym. However, the minimum would be varied weight dumbbells, varied weight bands and a workout bench.

While it can be useful to use heart rate data, it is entirely not necessary to gain fitness. We teach all our clients to read intensity based on the RPE scale. This is a powerful tool to assess desired intensity outcomes in both conditioning and strength training.
